What comes in the box?
The box contains a GPS unit, USB cable (very short), car power adapter, and stick-on mounting system (one piece clips into the back of the device, one has a way to stick to the dash or window, and the two parts snap together allowing the unit to be moved around.
The instructions are minimal (pictures showing how to put the mount together and plug it in); you need to connect to a computer and get the online manual and updates.
There is NO AC power adapter or case.

After quick first „Ggoogling“ attempts I didn’t found something special. Just another one new model with basic functions and democratic price tag. I read customer reviews and became boring.
Someone has bought this model instead of old one and highly praised new purchase. Naturally, over the years, technologies are evolving, and the new will be better than the old, so it’s at least pretend.
For example, one guy is so excited that speed indicator turns red when he speeding or auto recognize some addresses. My six years old TomTom Go720 are such a features.
So sorry girls and boys, I could not see any reason to make a copy pasted review about this Top Selling Garmin Nuvi 55LM car dash GPS device. You can easily find tons of different, mainly positive, reviews on the net, amazon.com is the best place. If not best, so all in one place.
To be honest looks that this is really good GPS system and has all main basic functions to fit in a range of useful gadget to execute safe and convenient driving either busy city streets or on rural winding roads.
Why this Garmin Nuvi 55LM GPS navigation system for a car is so demanding and well searched in Google, I not able to answer.
Just another good product from Garmin.
