I’m more of a yacht sailor than a motorboat. I once sailed from Portsmouth to Gibraltar in a force eight following wind the whole way. But I have done some canal barging and found lots of fun. Have to say I was luckier than you with fuel situations. Sounds like you had a blast. Good luck with all your future, trips!

      Hi, Donald!

Actually, I love sailing boats more than power boats. This particular voyage was the unique opportunity. When you have sails, only complete calm is the worst option.

A great tale of your travels, and I enjoyed the video as well. I have been in that part of the world and it is beautiful.

I assume that the trip relates to your overall site focus GPS, and how it is useful for your travels. This is a tool that I also have used in many parts of the world, handy indeed…

The newer GPS systems are much better than the initial versions, and knowing where you can dock and fuel up is certainly a plus when traveling as you did in this trip.

Thanks for sharing and the video added a lot to the overall article. I would like to know more about the GPS you were using as well. I did see a link within the article, and will check it out.

Hi Dave, and thank you for stopping by!

Yes, my site overall is about GPS navigation and other related matters. I have long wanted to write about my sea voyage. Why not now. In any case, it is one way or another connected with GPS navigation.
